WhatsApp has enabled HD photo sharing support for iPhone users too. To send HD photos on WhatsApp from your iPhone, select a chat and choose the image you want to send. Tap on the 'HD' icon which appears after selecting the image, select 'HD' resolution, and then tap 'Share'. The rollout of this feature is gradual, and the HD toggle is only available for photos with 4000x3000 resolution. Also, HD Photos max out at around 12MP resolution.
