Apple introduced a slew of new features for web apps with iOS 16.4, which includes access to push notifications and permission to third-party apps to add web pages to the iPhone and iPad home screen. Google has updated its native Chrome web browser for iOS to allow users to add web apps to their Home Screen. This means that users can now create shortcuts to their favourite websites on their iPhone or iPad, making it easier to access them.
