Google Drive design on Android tablets: What it means for users

Google has announced the roll-out of a large-screen redesign of Google Drive to improve the user experience for Android tablets. Tablet users will receive a new navigation rail and an updated design, which removes the bottom navigation bar and replaces it with a side-mounted navigation rail. The redesign will be well-optimised to leverage the extra screen space available on tablets, and the new design looks relatively less cluttered.
