Battery developer Northvolt to work with Stora Enso to create batteries from forestry waste

Lignin is a part of wood that binds tree fibers together. It accounts for 20-30 percent of a tree's weight and is burned for energy. After years of research and development, it could be turned into new products by forestry giants letting go of paper.
